About Me
My name is Anna Minsky (she/her), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#120552). I have worked as a therapist in schools, non-profits and community-based settings for the past 6 years providing individual psychotherapy, supporting healthy attachment within families, and facilitating groups. I hold a masters in social work from Smith College School for Social Work.
My work is psychodynamic, relational, depth-oriented, and rooted in my studies in attachment and somatics. I believe that our past experiences, conscious and unconscious, inform what is happening now. I find the body holds valuable information about what has gotten stuck and how to move forward. My approaches are all in service of supporting your connection to your own inner wisdom. I also work with a liberatory, social justice lens. Our experiences are shaped by our relationship to power and privilege in all parts of our lives. I hold all of this in mind as I work with you to support your growth and change.
Outside of therapy, my work and studies over the last 15 years have focused on the natural world, food access, and the arts. I have worked in rural and urban communities as an educator & farmer, land steward, studied as an herbalist, and am forever in pursuit of honing creative processes.
